The C Word is scary, isn’t it.
Confidence. The thing we all kinda, sorta, definitely want, yet are oh so scared of!
There’s something so intimidating about the idea of being confident. What is it about feeling so whole and sure that feels incredible alien? It’s something that should be so normal, but it always seems so elusive.
Being happy and self-assured and content in who you are isn’t always the default state of mind. Yet it’s definitely something we all deserve to feel. So, if you’re not quite there, you may need a confidence boost.
And not in the quick little fluff you up kind of way, but in the real, true, soul-soothing kind of way. Why?
Well, there are so many reasons for why you deserve to feel more confident in yourself. But if you’re holding yourself back from making it happen, here’s why you should.
For starters, you have to focus on the fact that you deserve to be happy. You truly do. No matter what your ego will have you believe.
It’s not okay to walk around feeling inadequate. It’s not okay to put yourself down. And it’s certainly not okay for you to dull your own sparkle because you don’t feel worthy enough.
Instead, it’s time to embrace more confidence in order to feel true happiness.
And we’re not just talking about fake happiness (that’s fappiness to you and me) here. You know the kind, where you smile and act the part but you’re really crumbling inside.
We’re talking about the real kind. The true, authentic happiness that even adds to your confidence. And isn’t that all we can ever ask for?
Okay so happiness is important, right? But then, so is the idea of being in control of your own mind and your own life.
It seems crazy to say it, but if you’re not owning your confidence and feeling secure in who you truly are, you’re just not really living.
Of course, it’s okay to have fears and worries and insecurities. You’re only human. And we all have them. But it’s not okay to let them run your life.
There’s a difference.
So if you know you want to live a wonderful, full life, you have to embrace confidence. It’ll let you have total control of your life, your future, and help you to create your dreams too.
And then there’s the idea of actually being able to create the future you’ve always wanted.
As much as confidence is needed for so many different things in life, it’s vital for your future happiness. If you’re not confident, how can you put yourself out there? How can you push yourself to go after what you want? And how can you meet the love of your life?
Now, this isn’t meant to be all mushy. But, ladies, it matters. If you’re the reason you won’t find love, you’ve got to do something about it. Because how are you going to meet Hertfordshire singles or other local love interests if you’re always holding yourself back?
You deserve the confidence to put yourself out there. To get to know potential matches on free dating sites without overthinking it or talking yourself out of it. To go wine tasting with a potential future spouse and have the time of yourself. And to even do something big and wild on a second or third date just because you want to.
And not only that, but have the confidence to state what you want, what you’re looking for, and what you need in a relationship. It all matters.
But sometimes, you need a confidence boost in order to believe you can do this.
But above all else, you truly deserve to embrace more confidence for the sake of your action plan.
We all have goals – even if they’re just budding little beacons of light right now. And in order to go after your goals, you have to have an action plan. But if you’re always doubting yourself, how are you ever going to make that happen?
You have to be confident in yourself, your abilities, and your dreams in order to achieve them. And when it comes to your action plan, you have to push yourself to take each step.
When you’re stuck in a place of self-doubt and insecurity, that’s just not going to happen. But when you’re working from a place of peace, self-believe, and (yes, you guessed it) confidence, you’ll be okay.
And what could be better than that?
