Who doesn't love eating cookie dough straight from the bowl? With this recipe you can make vegan edible cookie dough and not have to worry about salmonella!
Edible cookie dough is all the rage these days, but a lot of the ones on the market just taste too ~healthy~ (read: gross). This one strikes the perfect balance between being tasty but not *too* unhealthy. It's a great study snack or dessert for when you're craving something sweet to keep you going throughout the day (or night!).
2 tbsp vegan butter
1 tbsp almond milk
1/2 cup of flour
5/8 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 dash of salt
1. Microwave 2 tbsp of vegan butter on high in a microwave-safe bowl until fully melted (approximately 20 seconds).
2. Mix in 1 tbsp almond milk, 1/2 cup of flour, 5/8 cup of sugar; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 2 tbsp chocolate chips; and a dash of salt.
3. Chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving.
